Radiance Serum runs a lower vitamin C dose than the rest of the range — 8% — and spends the difference on two pigment-specific actives instead. Alpha-arbutin and 4-butylresorcinol both interrupt melanin production, and the resorcinol also lifts the surface layer of the epidermis so existing discolouration clears faster. It is hydroquinone-free, which means it can be used continuously rather than in cycles. Vivier's 16-week study had 100% of participants agreeing their overall skin condition had improved.
