Numbing cream is applied before treatment. Your provider uses the Fractora handpiece to deliver RF energy through microchannels into the deeper skin layers. Sessions take 30–60 minutes. Skin appears red and sensitive afterward, settling within 4–6 days. Makeup can usually be applied within a few days.

Fractora Face does two things simultaneously — the micropunctures trigger your skin's healing response, and the RF energy heats and contracts the deeper dermis. Together they drive improvement that continues developing for 3–6 months. For persistent wrinkles, acne scarring, or laxity, it's one of the most effective non-surgical options available.

Fine to deep wrinkles, significant laxity, acne scars, textural irregularities, pigmentation, or enlarged pores. The RF technology is colour-blind — suitable for all skin types including darker Fitzpatrick types who may not tolerate ablative lasers. Not recommended during pregnancy or for active skin infections.

When will I see results and how long will they last?

Initial improvement visible once skin settles (1–2 weeks post-treatment). Collagen continues rebuilding for 3–6 months after each session — this is where the most significant improvement occurs.

How many sessions will I need for best results?

1–3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart depending on concern and treatment intensity. Fractora Forma maintenance sessions sustain and build on results between more intensive treatments.

Can I combine this with other treatments or products?

Frequently combined with Fractora Forma for ongoing maintenance. Celluma light therapy can be added to accelerate healing. Injectables can complement Fractora Face for comprehensive full-face results — your provider will advise on timing.

Are there any side effects or things I should avoid?

Redness, swelling, and sensitivity for 4–6 days is expected. Avoid sun, tanning, swimming, retinoids, and active ingredients during recovery. SPF essential. Do not pick at the treated area.
